'Who decided 6:00 AM is a reasonable time to blast a trumpet?': 24-year-old woman starts feud with next-door neighbor for practicing trumpet loudly every morning

Everyone has dealt with a loud and inconsiderate neighbor at some point in their adult life, but this trumpet player brought new meaning to 'main character syndrome.'

Not only did he practice the trumpet in a janky apartment building with thin walls, but he also decided to do so right at 6:00 AM every single morning. Now, before anyone starts immediately defending him, this man is not a professional trumpet player. He is actually learning the instrument for the first time, which means that he's not only disturbing the peace, but he is also not even playing the trumpet well. It would be one thing if this individual were at least talented and skilled at musicianship. Unfortunately, he happens to be inconsiderate, self-centered, and untalented on top of that.

When the 24-year-old tenant who lives in the adjacent apartment confronted the trumpet novice, he explained that 6:00 AM was the only time he could practice daily. He couldn't practice after work because he always went to the gym. He couldn't practice after the gym because it was too late and he was too exhausted from the day. He couldn't even agree to solely practice over the weekends because if he didn't play daily, he wouldn't get better. Seems a little late in life for this man to pull the "practice makes perfect" card, but I digress.

This man needs to weigh his options here. Someone needs to ask him if he wants to make enemies with everyone in the building over an instrument he is not particularly adept at mastering, or if he wants to at least try to find a more mutually beneficial solution.
Furthermore, the landlord needs to step up as well. The fact that 6:00 AM is technically not during “quiet hours” is a technicality that only suggests this man's lack of interest in getting involved. Do your job, sir, or you're going to lose tenants!
As for the trumpet player, one has to wonder when he will decide if this is all worth it or if it's just a hobby he can easily replace with something quieter… you know, like playing the drums.
